We are delighted to welcome this vibrant young vocal group back to the NCEM following their sold-out concert in Beverley. Rising stars of the NCEM’s EEEmerging programme, Cantoria celebrate the 2022 EMD with a programme from the Spanish songbooks of the Renaissance which are brimming with desire, passion and sin!
The music of 16th century Spain is full of contrasts running between fiery devotion, love, joy, solitude and passionate sin. Cantoria explore a world of demons, saints and people that lived with exactly the same complicated emotions as we face today.
Presented in association with REMA.
NCEM works in association with like-minded organisations across Europe to support the professional development of young professional ensembles through its EEEMERGING+ programme supported by Creative Europe.www.ncem.co.uk/eee
