We invite you to enjoy this beautiful film, directed by Tony Britten, which looks at how John Wilbye spent his working life in the service and home of Suffolk recusants Sir Thomas and Lady Elizabeth Kytson.Using – in the director’s words – ‘glorious conjecture’ to weave the composer’s story, with his complicated love life, the result is a fascinating historical drama complemented by I Fagiolini’s performances – the perfect preamble to the evening’s performance!
