I Can Play
Free to attend, closing date to sign up Wednesday 9th January 2019

Join us for the 2019 launch of I Can Play!. Led by inspirational musician Danny Lane, these sessions will kick-start our programme of musical activities for children and young people with any degree of deafness, from mild to profound, to make music together. Following this launch, there will be further I Can Play! opportunities with York Music Forum, a lively and dynamic group of high-quality music ensembles for young people.

This launch event will take place on Saturday 12th January, 2019, at Lollipop HQ, Minster Building, Door 84, Lowther street, YO31 7LX.
11.00-12.00 for children aged 0-6 years (one adult is welcome to accompany each child in this session)
13.30-15.30 for children and young people aged 7-18 years
Each session will conclude with a short showcase (at 11.45 and 15.15 respectively), to which families are welcome.

I Can Play! is supported by Youth Music, as part of NCEM’s Music4U programme. The project runs in collaboration with Yorkshire Performing Arts, Music and the Deaf, Lollipop, York Music Hub, and York Council’s Deaf and Hearing Support Team.
