VESPERS ON THE MOVE
Lose yourself in the rich and beautiful Vespers of 1610. Following the triumphant presentation of Striggio’s 40-part Mass in 2012, I Fagiolini invite a free-moving audience into the centre of a horseshoe of singers and players and let the intricacies of this great masterpiece reveal themselves up close. Stand next to a cornett, get close to a tenor, watch the organist’s hands, or sit and watch from outside the circle – the choice is yours. Either way, it will be an experience you’ll never forget.
“An irrepressible force in the early music world, bringing bags of style, energy and dramatic excitement to everything they touch.” International Record Review
“to feel the physicality of the music with such immediacy made this an unforgettable experience” The Guardian
Please note there is a £1.50 administration charge per transaction
