Wartime women – their lives, loves, songs and stories. Poems, letters, and diary extracts will bring to life the experiences and feelings of the women of WWI, while music and songs from the period will give you a flavour of the ups and downs of life in these difficult times. From emotional ballads to uplifting marches, bawdy favourites and even knitting songs; heart-breaking poems of loss, uplifting diary entries and amusing anecdotes.

A superbly structured performance...heartfelt, moving and delivered with high quality of voice and a warm humour” Flanagan Collective
